God’ll punish Obasanjo, says Oshiomhole

National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, has said that former President Olusegun Obasanjo would receive punishment from God for supporting the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, for the 2019 election.
The former President, Oshiomhole said, should remember that sometime ago, he swore that God should punish him if he ever supports Atiku on his presidential ambition.

The Presiding Bishop, Living Faith Church Worldwide, aka Winners’ Chapel, Dr. David Oyedepo, has said that he has never received or shared any booty from any government in Nigeria.
He boasted of God’s blessings on his life and that he has a clear conscience. “I don’t share any booty from any government. I have a clear conscience; I am dangerously wealthy. I am rich, whatever I want, comes. That’s what they call wealth,” the Bishop said.

Enugu Assembly confirms two commissioner nominees

Enugu State House of Assembly on Tuesday screened and confirmed the two commissioner nominees sent to the House by Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.

  The confirmation of the nominees was announced by the Speaker, Edward Uchenna Ubosi, after the screening during the plenary session  at the chamber.

  The two nominees screened include Eucharia Uchenna from Igboetiti and Prince Chukwuemeka John Mamah from Igoeze Local Goverment Area (LGA).

Nigerians blast Mbaka, Oyedepo over Obi, Buhari

Two prominent Nigerian clerics, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, and Bishop of Winners’ Chapel, David Oyedepo, are not having the best of times.

  Catholic Priest, Mbaka, was seen in a video prodding vice presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Peter Obi, to make public donations to his church.

  Obi’s refusal to publicly declare his support seemed to have irked Mbaka, who went on what many described as unnecessary tirade, told Obi that him and presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar’s quest to govern Nigeria would end in shame.

2019: Group drums support for APC flag-bearer in Yobe, Buni

A youth group, Maimala Buni Students Support Group (MMBSSG), has declared its support for the candidature of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Secretary, Maimala Buni, who is also the 2019 Yobe State Governorship candidate on the platform of APC.
The concerned group said that it threw its weight behind Buni because of his contributions to the advancement of the party in the state and Nigeria at large.

Madumere extols British govt over development partnership with Imo, others

The Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere, has commended the British Government for its interest to partnering with Imo State and other South Eastern states with a view to finding a common interest for development.
Prince Madumere made the commendation when a delegation from the British High Commission led by British Deputy High Commissioner to Nigeria, Harriet Thompson, hosted the deputy governor to a dinner at the weekend in Owerri, the capital city of Owerri.

 Four members of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, five aspirants and 300,000 supporters  have dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Peoples Redemption Party (PRP).

  The member representing Bauchi Constituency in the state assembly, Abdullahi Shehu, disclosed this in Bauchi on Sunday.

  “I and other four members of the Bauchi State House of Assembly dumped the APC for good.

 “The party’s injustice and mandate theft in the APC direct primaries conducted on October 7 is part of reasons for dumping the party.

New Telegraph gathered that the mobilisation is being coordinated by an influential former top public officer from the Niger Delta, who once manned a multibillion naira agency.
