The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) is set to review its security strategy.

 The measure is to enhance its capacity to combat piracy and illegal activities on Nigerian waters.

NIMASA Director General, Dr Dakuku Peterside, disclosed this

during the defence of the agency’s 2016 budget before the Senate Committee on Marine Transport.
