Igbo socio-cultural group, Aka Ikenga, has condemned the Directorate of State Services (DSS) for accusing Ndigbo of killing and burying five Fulani men in Abia State.

  In statement by Chief Goddy Uwazurike, the

president-general, the group said that it  was puzzled at how the DSS came to the conclusion that the bodies it allegedly discovered were that of the Fulani.

The Taraba State Governor, Mr Darius Ishaku, on Wednesday, April 13, 2016, said that he would punish those responsible for an attack in the state to justice.

He also urged residents, with useful information on the perpetrators of the recent killings to come forward.

President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria has warned vandals and saboteurs blowing up oil and gas installations in Nigeria to “desist immediately or face the same drastic action being taken against Boko Haram by the Armed Forces.’’

 

The Kogi State c‎hapter of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) has passed a vote of confidence on the state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, for his performance in the two months since his assumption of office.

 The party’s state Chairman,  Indah Abdulrahman, stated this in Lokoja during a visit to the governor.

Nigeria Airforce has embarked on a two-day medical outreach in Bauchi State communities.

The communities that benefited from the medical outreach are Gubi and Durum, which were located close to the newly established Airforce Base under construction in the state.

 

Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose, has described the raging controversies between the Presidency and the National Assembly over

the 2016 Budget as a confirmation of his position that President Mohammadu Buhari was clueless and incompetent. “Nigerians

should expect more blunders like this until they send Buhari back to Daura in 2019,” Fayose said.
