Reports filtering in suggests that the alleged mass graves dug by the Nigerian army to hide the casualties of the clash with members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, has been uncovered.

 

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose, has said that the statementmissued by the Presidency on President Mohammadu Buhari’s sudden

vacation was vague.  He said, “Nigerians deserve to know the truth about

their President because the President is an open book that every Nigerian should be free to read.”

 

The appeal filed by Senate President Bukola Saraki to stop his trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT, was on Friday thrown out by the Supreme Court for lacking merit.

 

This is as the Senate President expressed disappointment over the ruling, but expressed readiness to prove his innocence in the charges preferred against him during the trial proper.

For the first time in about eight months since he took charge of the nation’s affairs, President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday, February 5, 2016, began a vacation that will terminate on Wednesday, February 10, 2016.

This was communicated to Nigerians in statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, on Friday.

Ebonyi State Governor, Mr. David Umahi,  has ordered an indefinite  suspension  of  his special adviser on Internally Generated Revenue, Chief Jeremiah Oketa,  for action, described as going beyond the authority and command of his office.
