President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria has nominated a former Deputy Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Nsima Ekere as Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba as the Chairman of the agency responsible for the development of the oil-rich Niger Delta region.

Their names were forwarded to the Senate Wednesday for confirmation.
