Imo State government has indicated interest to partner the office of the Surveyor General of Federation (SGF) to up its internally generated revenue.

The state Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere, disclosed this during a meeting with the Surveyor General of the Federation, Ebisintei Bietoru Awudu, in Abuja.

 

Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia of the Federal High Court Lagos Friday, May 20, 2016, convicted Mr. Raymond Omatseye, a former director-general of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) over a N1.5 billion contract scam during his tenure.

The judge subsequently sentenced him to five years in prison.
