The Chairman of Potiskum Local Government Area of Yobe State, Nigeria, Muhammad Musa Potiskum, has charged the new councilors of the local government to fulfill their electioneering promises to the people of the area to justify the confidence reposed in them at the poll on Saturday, February 11, 2017.

A total of 15 persons have been arrested by the Anambra State Police Command following an alleged assault on Umuoye village in Ebenebe town of Awka North Local Government Area in Anambra State.

Muhammad Ali Jr., son of the legendary boxing champion, Muhammad Ali, was detained by immigration officials at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport for hours on February 7, according to reports.
