Niger State Governor, Abubakar Sani Bello, got what he never bargained for during the conferment of traditional honours to the Chief of Staff Government House, Mikhael Bmitosahi, by the Gbagyis during their annual, Paigokni Cultural Fiesta, 2016 at the weekend.

About 60 heavily armed bandits over the weekend attacked several communities in Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State and killed four persons, kidnapped 30 and also went away with 250 cattle from the communities.

 A group of youths in Dutsen Kura-Gwari, Minna has accused the Speaker, Niger State House of Assembly, Ahmed Marafa, of abandoning them after being voted into office.

 It also alleged that he failed to intervene in the replacement of damaged transformer to restore electricity in the area.

How monkey caused Kenya nationwide blackout

A single monkey caused a nationwide blackout in Kenya after falling on to a crucial piece of equipment.

The monkey fell on a transformer at the Gitaru hydroelectric power station on Tuesday, electricity provider, KenGen, stated.
