The All Progressives Congress (APC) led Bauchi State government has been challenged to conduct a free and fair local government elections in the state.

The People's Democractic Party ( PDP) gave the challenge in a communiqué issued at the end of its expanded stakeholders’ meeting‎ at Zaranda Hotel Bauchi.

The Apapa Command of Nigeria Customs Service has impounded a 40-foot container laden with Tilapia fish from Turkey.

 Customs Area Controller of the Command, Jibrin Musa, disclosed in Lagos that the importer declared apples as the content of the container before scanning proved it to be 2,700 cartons of prohibited frozen fish.

A National Assembly Clerk, Mohammed Shuaibu, on Monday, March 13, 2017, slumped and died at the National Assembly complex, Abuja.

 The late Shuaibu, who hails from Zaria, Kaduna State reportedly slumped at about 12noon while walking on a staircase and was rushed to the National Assembly clinic where he was later confirmed dead by the doctors.

President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria has directed Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to head the special presidential delegation charged with the task of resolving the crisis in the Niger Delta region.
