The National Chairman of the Ambassadors of Nigeria for Buhari Continuity (ANBC), Hon Isimile Omesasa, has called on Nigerian youths to support the re-election bid of the Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), President Muhammadu Buhari, in 2019.
Omesasa made the appeal during the group’s executive meeting in Enugu.
He said that the organization, with majority of its members youths, decided to work with Nigerian youth because they play an important role in Nigeria politics.
He said, "We the youth need to come out and support Presdient Buhari and APC in 2019 because it's only the youth that can make Nigeria great again through their vote.
"We have decided to throw our weight behind Buhari's re-election in 2019 so that he can hand over to Nigerian youth in 2023 when he completes his second tenure because the President had good plan for our youth," he said.
Omesasa, who described Nigerian youth, as vibrant and hard working, said that Buhari, who had been trusted and tested as a leader to deliver Nigeria, needed to be supported and given more time to fulfill all his manifesto before 2023.
"Buhari as a former military general, who understands Nigeria’s problem if allowed to continue as President in the next four years, will make Nigeria a better country for all of us as our economy will improve and there will be employment for the citizens especially the youth.”
He pointed out that his organization was working tirelessly to ensure that President Buhari was re-elected in 2019 for the development of the nation, adding, "Buhari's fight against corruption has been commendable and it's only when he continues that he can finish his work.”

The national chirman then called on all state chairman of ANBC to take proactive measure in educating Nigerians on why they should support Buhari's candidacy.
