By Valentine Amanze

Two goals from Jude Ighalo, and one fron Ahmed Musa were what Super Eagles of Nigeria needed on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 to defeat Libya 3-2 in Tunisia, the Libyan adopted home for the 2019 AFCON competition scheduled to hold in Cameroon.
The two first half goals came off the boots of Ighalo in the 12th minute followed by that of Musa in the 15th.
While Musa gave Ighalo the assist, he returned the favour in the 15th minute of the first half, which Nigeria dominated.
However, the trend changed at the inception of the second half with more determination from the host country. Through a goal-mouth struggle, Libya pulled one back via Mohammed Zabas in the 37th minute. Libya made it two throough Ahmed Ben Ali.
The Libyan celebration was caught short by Ighalo’s brilliant effort in the 82th minute, which won the day for Nigeria.
It would be recalled that Ighalo scored a heart-trick against Libya in Nigeria at the weekend and made it five in Tunisia, where he also scored two against the same team.
With the result, Nigeria tops group G with nine points as South Africa takes the second spot after playing goaless draw with Seychelles on October 16, 2018.
