Fika monarch honours NAPIMS chief, Jajere, with title of Zanna Dujima

The Emir of Fika and Chairman Yobe State Council of Chiefs, Dr Muhammad Ibn Abali Muhammad Idrissa, has conferred the title of ‘Zanna Dujima’ on Mr. Sagir Adamu Jajere, the general manager, National Petroleum Investment Management Service (NAPIMS).
A source to the celebrant, Hassan Adamu, described Jajere, who is an engineer, as “a respected son of the Emirate, a worthy ambassador and a courageous defender of the Emirate and its people, who is determined to make the Emirate proud both at home and internationally.”

The new Zanna Dujima of Fika, Jajere MNSE, was born and brought up in Potiskum town of Yobe State. He started his early education at Damboa Primary School, Potiskum and from there proceeded to Government Comprehensive Secondary School, Potiskum, also in Yobe State.
After completing his secondary education, he proceeded to University Of Maiduguri, Borno State, and bagged Bsc Civil Engineering and served his NYSC at Oyo/Osun state, upon completion he worked briefly with Federal Ministry of Works and Housing, Lagos, as Executive Engineer and later moved his services to NETCO a subsidiary of rhe NNPC and after 13 years, he moved to the main stream of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) and held various positions and responsibilities and authorities as deputy manager and manager.
He also held various positions and worked in various departments and commitees of the NNPC within Nigeria.

His performance earned him promotion to General Manager (GM) and moved to Nigerian Petroleum Investment Management (NAPIMS), Production Sharing Contract (PSC) and transferred to Lagos Office.
