Oyedepo decries insecurity, faults govt

.Says we have always lived together until this regime…

The President, Living Faith Church Worldwide (Winners Chapel), Bishop David Oyedepo, has decried the rising insecurity in Nigeria since President Muhammadu Buhari and his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), came to power five years ago.
He said that before the inception of the Buhari administration
both Christians and Muslims were living together peacefully.
Oyedepo spoke on Tuesday February 4, 2020 in a live broadcast of “Covenant Hour of Prayer,” Canaanland, Otta.
He warned security agencies to be honest in handling the case of the man caught in one of the church's local assembly trying to bomb the church.
He said: “I saw this coming. I stood crying and blowing hard. Mercy has prevailed unbehalf of the Carnal church. Their sins are forgiven."
The cleric said that the current leadership in Nigeria was
the most callous, insensitive and wicked Nigeria has ever had since it became a nation.
"CAN chairman was beheaded where they claim they have securities? And they are still walking on the streets? If the authorities are not backing them, then who?
"And they are looking for hate speech not haters. Is Nigeria now better than George Owel's Animal farm?” Oyedepo queried.
On the attempted suicide bomber, Oyedepo wept. He said: “I saw some security agents running round. Now let me warn you. If you dare to cover this, your generation shall be and will remain uncovered. You will walk naked on the streets."
Earlier he had said that it was important for Christians to know their stand - reading from Isaiah chapter 54:17, Palsm11:5-6, chapter 7:11 where he said that God is angry with the wicked 'Boko Haram and their cohort’.
He also read Isaiah chapter 42 verse 13 -15, and 49:24-26 and asked God to confirm the verdict of the scriptures upon the killers.

He declared that everyone involved in the assult of Christians in the nation would go down.
"They will see sand and mistake it for money," he said.
