Though no life was lost, our correspondent learnt that nine male and 10 females were seriously injured.

The Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Clement Oladele, confirmed the incident in a statement.

Oladele, in the statement signed by the Public Education Officer, Ogun State Command, Florence Okpe, said the suspected causes of the accident include speed violation and loss of control.

Okpe disclosed that the affected vehicle had no registration number.

“The FRSC Sector Commander advised youth corps members to always caution their drivers, especially during this rainy season and that where such drivers refused caution they should call FRSC toll free number 122 for the FRSC to take necessary disciplinary action against such erring drivers,” she said.
