The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has postponed the auctioning of forfeited trucks/vehicles and petroleum products arising from suit FHC/PH/MISC/65/2019, earlier scheduled to commence in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on Monday, September 9, 2019.
The statement by the agency’s Head, Media and Publicity, Wilson Uwujaren, pointed out the auctioning would have started with the inspection of the items by interested bidders.
It also
postponed the bid opening ceremony earlier fixed for Thursday, September 12, 2019.
While the EFCC did not give reasons for the postponement, it however stated that
new dates would be announced in due course.
Besides, it regretted any inconvenience the postponement caused interested bidders and other stakeholders.
