Abubakar gave the advice at the official opening of the Training of Magistrate/District Court Judges of Niger State.
He said that the issue of peace and unity of the nation could not be over emphazied.

"I cannot finish talking without talking about the peace of our country. The issue of peace cannot be over emphazied , without peace, we cannot be here. Each of us should make sure there is peace; Nigerians should do their part."

He also threw his weight on the call made by Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State to grant full autonomy to strengthen the Judiciary for efficient and effective service delivery.
Decrying the state of magistrate courts in the country, he said, "Bulk of magistrate courts are Dilapidated, we need to encourage their performance to enrich delivery of justice."
