Babangida one of Nigeria’s most experienced leader - Niger ex-governor

Former Governor of Niger State, Dr. Muazu Babangida Aliyu, has described former Military President,, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB), as one of the most experienced leaders in the nation.
Aliyu, who made the remark in Minna, the capital of Niger State, said that Nigeria could gain alot from IBB's wealth of experience.

The former Nigerian leader, turned 78 years recently.
But Aliyu said that though the elder ststesman has not been talking publicly recently, he has been giving counsel without any reservations to move the country forward.
His words: "Believe me, though, he may not be talking publicly, he advises us. He warns us and reconciles us, when there is a concern."
Praying for the former Head of State, Aliyu also said, "I am happy he is alive and healthy. Today, he is 78 years old and we are still counting. We hope, he stays longer. Because, he is probably, the most experienced leader that we have had in this part of the world.
"We thank Allah for keeping him and we thank him (IBB) for sacrificing himself, his comfort and materials to help other people."
