The National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS), Niger State chapter, on Wednesday endorsed the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Alhaji Umar Nasko, as its preferred choice ‎for the 2019 Niger State governorship race.

“We want the INEC to be neutral and ensure they conduct fair and credible elections because, I am very confident that the youths are going to vote for candidate of their age bracket that has the capacity and credibility to create job opportunities and empowerment”.
The public lecture with the theme, ‘‘Issues and Challenges of 2019 Elections’’, Rabiu said was timely as it provided the opportunity for eligible voters in tertiary institutions to exercise their franchise by electing candidates of their choice in the coming elections.
Rabiu said that all eligible students across tertiary institutions in Niger State would cast their votes for Umar Nasko because he has promised to award scholarships and bursaries to students when he assumes office on May 29, 2019.
Chairman of the students support group under the auspices of ‘Nasko Students Frontier’, Comrade Yusuf Americana, while presenting the Frontier’s endorsement letter, extolled the virtues of Nasko for not only relating more closely with Nigerlites but ready to offer his service to all.

According to Yusuf, “The time has come for us to vote in the only candidate that can liberate us and work for us all. Niger state needs a leader who will be ready to provide selfless service.”
