. Constitutes panel of inquiry

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, has constituted an Administrative Panel of Inquiry to review the classification of traditional chieftaincy stools in the state.
The governor inaugurated the Panel on Monday, March 13, 2017 at the Executive Council Chambers of Government House , Port Harcourt by 2pm.
The governor said: "In exercise of the powers confeŕred upon me by the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 and other powers enabling me in that behalf, I Nyesom Ezenwo Wike (CON) , Governor of Rivers State, hereby, constitute and appoint an Administrative Panel of Inquiry to review the classification of traditional stools in Rivers State.
The following are members of the panel: Mr Sam Egbe, chairman; Sir Samuel Ibemeru, permanent secretary, Ministry of Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, Secretary; Dr Samuel Wenedo, member; Dr Benibo George, member; Dr Godspower Jackson Irikana, member; and Henry Amadi Esq, principal, State Counsel, Ministry of Justice and counsel to the Panel of Inquiry.
The Administrative Panel of Inquiry has full powers and authority to hold public hearings into the aforesaid matters.
