Gambo commends Yobe governor over fair distribution of projects

Permanent Member of the Yobe State Universal Basic Education (UBE) Board, Alhaji Tasiu Gambo, has commended the state Governor, Ibrahim Gaidam, for his developmental strides in human capital and infrastructural development in the state.
He also hailed Gaidam for ensuring even distribution of projects in the nooks and crannies of the state.
Gambo spoke in Damaturu, when the governor embarked on projects’ monitoring and inspection in the state.
He pointed out that the governor has performed well in the face of dwindling state revenue, and within the short period of time.
He mentioned some of the successes in the area of road constructions and rehabilitations, upgrade of hospitals and schools as well as the recent construction of the Cargo International Airport in Damaturu.
He said that the governor’s projects would enhance socio-economic status of the state.
"Yobe State despite the insurgency that rocked it was able to achieve great in the area of providing services to its people such as free medical care for pregnant women and children of zero to five years, free treatment for accident victims, free education, proper scholarships for the indigenes, prompt payment of staff salaries, pensioners and empowerment package for the youths in the state has no comparison in Nigeria".
Gambo, who declared that he has no regrets to supporting the governor’s bid to govern the state forever if not of the constitutional restraints, affirmed that the governor has made him proud as a citizen of the state and what he has seen of the state capital, Damaturu in recent time.
He thus called on the people of the state to rally round the Governor to succeed. He assured the present administration in the state of an unflinching support and solidarity of the people in his zone.
