This was disclosed by the party executive and other members at a press conference.

The removal was contained in a letter dated February 26, 2018 and was read by the Ganjuwa local government secretary of the party, Muhammad Nasiru Inuwa Kafi.

According to the letter, the former chairman had committed offences contrary to Article 22 and 22.

The letter was copied to the state chairman of the party, U Ahmed Nana, the APC national headquarters, Zonal vice chairman north east, the Ganjuwa Divisional Police Officer (DPO); Director, DSS and the Bauchi State commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps ( NSCDC).

The letter stated that the offences committed by the former chairman also contravened Article 21(I) (II) and (III) of the APC constitution 2014 as amended.

It said, “You have been found wanting on series of financial mismanagement and misconduct both in breach of articles 22 and 23 of our great party constitution, despite all opportunities given to you to offer satisfactory explanation, but neglect and/or refuse as such, we therefore pass a vote of no confidence against you and hereby stand "dismissed" as our party chairman pursuant to the above mentioned article 21(I),(II) and (III).
